This artists style is a little different and i chose to look at him because he has a strong ability to visualise environments- nails the aesthetic

Shiyoon Kim has been responsible for designing and helping bring characters to life from Tangled, Wreck It Ralph, Frozen, and most recently as lead character designer on Big Hero 6. He credits his high school teacher for opening him up to the power of storytelling through drawing. A graduate from CalArts Character Animation Program.

He works on disney characters- good for design inspiration
draws facial expressions based on real peoples faces. I think this is a good artist to start with for character design becausenot only does he know what he is doing he also works for the same companies as my environment artists.

I went along to this exhibition and I came across a piece of art that was reflective/3D, so that when you would look at it one way it would appear as a man playing on his computer, but if you walked around it, it would change into a robot and a medieval monster.

I liked the idea of becoming the character you're playing as, and this gave me the idea of turning people I know into video game characters.
