This artists style is quite simple and they work with much more basic shapes. Some of their art is more realistically set up and works well for live action movies. Some is very abstract and is ideal for understanding things such as direction of light, colour and scale.
I chose this artist because Ii like how his images feel like a moment in time, and not just a still-posed and set up image. -- movement
I was also drawn to the bright colours and interesting perspective.

MY RESPONSE

These responses were drawn using a tablet, which isnt what I would normally use to draw with. It was difficult at the start to get used to the brushes and buttons but I kept going with it and these are the results

I wanted to do something quick and simple and I feel  achieved that. I took the idea of ships over the landscape from Mosquera and I used a similar colour scheme. However I wanted to play around with the background more, so I changed the colours and tried some different brushes. I liked the strokes that they made, some where textured, some where smooth and good for blending.

I now have a good idea of style, I want to try more photo painting without taking style directly from an artist.
