ABOUT
I wanted to expand my digital skills so I found a surreal collage artist- Christo Makatita
I watched a tutorial by a different collage artist to get an idea of the process, then began to make my own version of Christo's work.
To keep similar style I used slightly washout out colours with more vibrant reds, I used a noise effect to get the grainy look and I made an odd scene with objects in obscure places.
After finishing the butterfly collage I used what I had learned to make other responses , these included text, various colours and images. I think that they would make good 50's magazine covers.
